ROME - Thanksgiving has become a tradition at The Lay Centre. Once again, this year, we were unable to invite guests due to the ongoing protocols, but we celebrated as a community coming together for Mass, presided by Archbishop Paul R. Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States within the Holy See's Secretariat of State.
Mass was followed by the inauguration of a permanent photo exhibit celebrating the Ladies of Bethany (more information in link), after which we enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner prepared by our cooks.
As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, we are grateful more than ever for the gifts and blessings we have received over the years. We thank everyone who supports us both financially and spiritually so that we can continue our mission.
