In their 2005 statement “Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord,” the U.S. Bishops state that, “communion and mission provide the foundation for understanding and carrying out lay ecclesial ministry.”

This Rome seminar draws upon the unique historical, artistic, theological, and spiritual resources of Rome in order to deepen our grasp of this truth. The program is an integrated experience of spiritual growth, intellectual development, personal enrichment, and a broad appreciation of social and pastoral situations experienced by lay ecclesial ministers throughout the world.  A unique and not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn, share, and be spiritually refreshed as a lay ecclesial minister.
