Professor Balch will present his new book: Roman Domestic Art and Early House Churches (WUNT 228: Mohr Siebeck 2008 with CD). This groundbreaking study explores how visual representations in Roman houses across the ancient Mediterranean world shaped early Christian worship and ethics, and influenced the composition of the New Testament.

Rev. Dr. David Balch is the Professor of New Testament at the Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California (USA).
