Study Program for the Cambridge Muslim College

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Lay Centre is organizing these days which will be part of the program of studies for students of the Cambridge Muslim College to learn more about the history, spirituality, theology and praxis of the Roman Catholic Church. The study program includes visits not only to churches and other sites of historical interest, but also meetings with religious and laity, professors of various pontifical universities, and officials of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. The highlight of the visit will be the General Audience with Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday, 7 July.
Lay Centre alumnae Dr. Lejla Demiri, Women's Officer and Course Convenor at the CMC and Dr. Sandra Keating, Associate Professor of Theology at Providence College and Consultor to the Commission on Religious Relations with Muslims of the PCID, will guide the days of discussion, study and dialogue.
Program Features:
+ daily opportunities for prayer and meals together
+ lectures by various professors of the pontifical universities and institutes in Rome
+ guided visits to significant churches and historical sites
