This weekend Lenten retreat at the Casa di Esercizi Spirituali of the Passionists in Rome will help us reflect on what it means to be alive in Christ as we journey through the forty days of preparation for the Easter Triduum. The weekend will include lodging and meals at the retreat house, lectures, time for personal meditation, and the daily celebration of the Eucharist and the Liturgy of the Hours.

 Rev. Timothy Costello, SM, is a Marist priest and Professor of Psychology at the Pontifical Gregorian University.

Directions to reach the Passionists’ Retreat House

(Casa di Esercizi Spirituali Passionisti)

Piazza Ss. Giovanni e Paolo, 13 – 00184 Rome

 

By car: please use the entrance on the Via Claudia, 60 (a large grey gate): there is ample parking on the grounds.

 

On foot from the Circo Massimo Metro Stop: walk uphill from Via delle Terme di Caracalla to P.zza SS. Giovanni e Paolo. Just near the basilica you will see steps that go up to n. 13 where you will find the entrance to the Retreat House.

 

On foot from the Colosseo Metro Stop: walk down the Via Claudia and enter the Via S. Paolo della Croce through the Roman Arch (access from this point is pedestrian only) on your right.  Continue until you reach the steps at P.zza SS. Giovanni e Paolo, n. 13.
