The Russell Berrie Fellowship in Interreligious Studies
September Workshop:
"Making a Difference" in Interreligious Dialogue

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this study program is to be a serious academic exercise that introduces the 2010-2011 fellows of The Russell Berrie Foundation in Interreligious Studies to the doctrine, history and key texts which focus on the Roman Catholic Church's commitment to Jewish and Muslim dialogue. The days will feature lectures and discussions by professors from various pontifical universities and institutes, as well as by Vatican officials involved in interreligious dialogue. 

Academic directors of the September Workshop are Dr. Adam Afterman and Dr. Donna Orsuto.

Program Features:

+ daily liturgical celebrations
+ lecture and discussions with various professors of the pontifical universities and institutes and Vatican officials involved in interreligious dialogue
+ guided visits to significant churches

+ opportunities for guided discussion and theological reflection
+ common meals and fellowship
