Lay Centre alumnus Michael Canaris celebrated the sacrament of matrimony during a Catholic Church ceremony with his wife, Valeria Collante, in Philadelphia Aug. 3. Valeria recently immigrated to the United States from Spain. The couple currently lives in Chicago, where Michael is an assistant professor at Loyola University Chicago’s Institute of Pastoral Studies.
