A Rome Seminar for Faculty of Seton Hall University

PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the faculty trip to Rome is to 1) build community; 2) introduce some of the cultural and artistic treasures of Rome; 3) expose faculty to key theologians in Rome 4) and connect some of these cultural and artistic experiences with two signature courses at Seton Hall: “The Journey of Transformation” and “Christianity and Culture in Dialogue”. The staff of the Lay Centre at Foyer Unitas is organizing this study week in collaboration with Reverend Monsignor Richard Liddy, Director of the Center for Catholic Studies, Seton Hall University.
Program Features:
+ daily liturgical
celebrations
+ lecture and discussion with various professors and experts in Rome
+ guided visits to significant churches and Christian sites
+ study excursion to Ostia Antica

opportunities for fellowship and enjoying Italian cuisine
